The environment we live in has constant change and the people leading organizations need new strategies, tools and support to adapt their organizations to meet those changes.
Change can be internal (staff turn-over, board policies, system changes) and external (client needs, funding fluctuations, community demographics). From time-to-time, nonprofit organizations need help to address issues caused by the different change forces.
DESC is continuously monitoring the nonprofit environment to insure that our services are meeting the changing needs of nonprofit organizations. When issues arise that affect the nonprofit community, DESC will develop new programs and services to help nonprofits address those issues.
Our most recent program addition addressing an emerging need is our Crisis Management Service. We encourage nonprofits to contact DESC when new services are identified to address emerging needs.
