Session 1: Introduction to Bookkeeping Basics
Bookkeeping responsibilities are a serious matter. This comprehensive introduction to the bookkeeping process starts at the beginning to explain the purpose and structure of good bookkeeping systems. -
Session 2: Cash Receipts and Disbursements
Can you track the flow of funds within your agency? You will learn how to record and maintain proper accounting journals and files for cash receipts, cash disbursements, accounts receivable and accounts payable. -
Session 3: Payroll
Keeping payroll straight can be a time consuming responsibility. This session outlines how to establish and maintain payroll records required for internal and external reporting, including processing and recording payroll deposits. -
Session 4: Month End Process
Bookkeeping is the basis for constructing an organization's entire financial picture. In this session you will learn how to complete the necessary steps: bank reconciliation, the month-end closeout, trial balance, and basic financial statements.
