COMMON CLIENT QUESTIONS

  1. Is there any financial obligations if I complete the assessment?
    No, the assessment only generates a meeting with DESC to discuss need and project feasibility. If an agreement to proceed is reached, fees will then be determined.

  2. I would like your service but my agency cannot afford the fee. Can I still receive services?
    Yes, an easy payment plan can be developed for your agency.

  3. How long will a project take?
    The length of a project depends upon the amount of time you and your agency has available to complete your assignments. The consultants will work with you for as long as necessary, providing progress is being made. The average length of time is 6 months, but varies between 3 to 18 months.

  4. Will consultants give reports to the Executive or the Board?
    The consultants will work with and give periodic reports to the designated agency contact person (determined by your agency). There are no surprises and the contact person will be kept in-formed.

  5. Does DESC have experience with my type of agency or particular issue?
    Our consultants are well-equipped to answer the challenges of the nonprofit community. The consultants varied experiences - in their careers, their work as volunteers, and their DESC management consultant assignments makes them an invaluable asset to your organizational goals.
