Since 1982, the Detroit Executive Service Corps has provided high quality volunteer consultancy services to numerous nonprofit organizations in SE Michigan. In these difficult economic times, there are many non-profits that need assistance in operating more efficiently and professionally.

Our consultants consist of retired (and actively employed) accountants, lawyers, human resource, marketing and fund development professionals dedicated to helping non-profit organizations in southeastern Michigan. We keep costs very low for organizations, and discount such fees based on the size and needs of the organization we are working with.

Some organizations still cannot afford the fees due to the crisis situation they may be in at the moment (indicating that they need our expert guidance even more).

To help meet the growing need for our services in these tough times, we have established the DESC Scholarship Fund that is used to provide training for non-profit staff, Board and leaders through a comprehensive calendar of workshops in:

• Leadership
• Financial Management
• Board Development
• Marketing
• Fund Development Planning
• Team Building

Every organization receives a free organizational assessment to help identify what issues need to be addressed and the best approach and skills needed when we assign their client manager and consultant(s).

Your generous support will be recognized on all marketing materials related to the fund, and we will give you an annual report on the use of the fund and outcomes achieved.
