Building the Capacity of Nonprofit Boards
BoardWALK is a series of eight affordable workshops designed to energize the performance of nonprofit board members, prospective board members and the staff that work with them. Workshops are conducted by experienced professionals in classes small enough to provide individual attention. BoardWALK is offered through a partnership of Detroit Executive Services Corps, and the Center for Nonprofit Management at Lawrence Technological University and United Way for Southeastern Michigan.

All workshops are held on Fridays from 9 a.m. – noon at the Center for Nonprofit Management (Buell Building) at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI. Registration is $35.00 per workshop or $245.00 for the complete series. To register for the entire series click here

Classes are handicap accessible and parking is free. In inclement weather, classes will be cancelled when Southfield Public Schools are closed. All cancelled classes will be rescheduled.
